Your horse is more than just a pet. They are your best friend, teammate, therapist, and more. As a life long horse lover myself, I understand the unique relationship you two share and aim to portray it in every image I take! As much as I hate to say it, our time with our equine partners is often limited and unpredictable. I promise you will never regret having professional photos of them to look back on.

I want you to enjoy your portrait experience just as much as you enjoy your images. I understand that not a lot of people have had their portraits taken (especially with their horses!) so I try my best to make sure every shoot is laid back and stress free. I will walk you through the whole process!

Before Your Session:

How far in advance should I book my session?

Because I only accept a limited number of clients each month, I usually book 2-5 months out. I sometimes have some last minute spots available, but booking ahead ensures you get the date you want and you have enough time to plan and prepare.

How do I prepare for my session?

Upon booking, I will send you over a ton of info on how to prepare, what to wear, how to get your horse ready, etc. The amount of preparation you do is completely up to you, but the more you prepare, the smoother our session will go.

The Day Of Your Session:

Where and when will my session take place?

Usually, I do my equestrian sessions where your horse lives. Horses are unpredictable animals, so I find it best to stick to a place they know and are comfortable at. If you want to trailer your horse to a different location, let me know and we can plan that out!

What if it’s raining or I’m sick the day of my session?

No worries! I leave many dates open per week for rescheduling.

What if my horse acts up?

In my preparation guide, I give you some tips on how to keep your horse relaxed and cooperative during our session. Since I have been working with horses for over 10 years, I understand that horses have a mind of their own and can still act up no matter what we do to try to avoid it. That is totally okay! I will work with you both to ensure we get amazing photos.

Can I bring someone with me to our photo session?

Absolutely! Bring whoever you would like. Fair warning though, I will probably recruit them to be my assistant and help get your horse’s ears up!

After Your Session:

When will I receive my images?

1-2 days after your session, you will see a couple sneak peeks on social media. The rest of your gallery will be delivered about 3-4 weeks after your session.

Can I post my photos on social media?

Of course! I love when clients love their photos so much and want to share them! If you want to tag me in your posts, I would greatly appreciate that.
