Frequently Asked Questions
WHEN AND WHERE WILL MY SESSION TAKE PLACE?
I usually like to shoot about 1 hour 20 minutes - 3 hours before the sun sets depending on which session package you choose. The lighting is PERFECT for photos!
I have a handful of amazing locations I LOVE to shoot at. Depending on your style and what you're looking for, I will recommend a couple places and we will come up with the best one (or two) that are PERFECT for you! If you have a location in mind that I haven't photographed at, let me know and I will scout out the location to see what we are working with :)
What if the weather is bad the day of our session? What If I am sick the day before?
Overcast and sunny days are both wonderful for photos. However, if it is raining the day of your session, I keep a handful of dates open each month so we can reschedule.
If you are feeling ill (either the day before or day of), let me know ASAP and we can reschedule then too. I want you to look and feel your best!
When is payment due? How can I pay you?
There is a $50 deposit due at the time of booking to reserve your spot on my calendar. The rest of your balance is due the day of your session, unless you request a payment plan. The best way to pay me is either by credit card on the invoice or a check.
Can I bring someone with me to my session?
Absolutely! Moms are welcome, as are best friends, boyfriends, siblings, whoever! Bring someone who you're comfortable with, makes you laugh, gets you out of your shell, etc.
Can you get a few shots with my mom/sibling/bff/pet during our session?
YES! I would love to. Let me know in advance if there's someone special you want to include in your session.
When will I receive my photos?
It can take up to 5 weeks after your session to receive your edited images. You will see a couple previews before that, though! You will get your package about a week and a half after you choose the images you would like printed. If you are ordering an album or canvas print, those have a bit longer turn around time.
Can you submit my picture to the yearbook?
Yes I can! I just need to know where I am supposed to send it, what picture number you want to submit, and your name as you would like it in the yearbook.
