How To Prepare For Your SEnior Photo SEssion
The amount of preparation you do before your photo session is totally up to you, but the more prepared you are, the smoother our session will go.
Bring a variety of different colors & looks (both casual and formal) that fit your style and personality. You don't want all your pictures looking the same! Avoid neon colors and big logos/graphics.
It's important your clothes fit you well. They should flow closely to your body, but should not be extremely tight. You don't want to wear boxy clothes as you will appear bigger than you actually are in your photos.
Solid colors and subtle patterns look great in photos. Try to avoid distracting patterns like camo and stripes.
Make sure your clothes are not wrinkly! Wrinkles are distracting in photos and not always easy to get rid of in Photoshop.
Make sure your socks match your pants if you can see them.
Accessorize! Wear a watch, a belt, cool shoes, or a hat - whatever your style is, accessories add a lot to images.
If you wear glasses, make sure your lenses are glare-free. If they aren't, try to wear contacts to your session.

If you would like some advice or approval of your outfits, feel free to text or email me some photos! I'd love to see what you have planned :)
If you need a haircut, get one about 2 weeks before our session. That way, it will be the perfect length!
Shave your face (or trim your beard), pluck any stray eyebrow hairs, and trim your nails for our session. The camera catches every detail!
If you are prone to chapped lips, keep them moisturized the whole week before your session.
